Recognizing the importance of the program both as a great opportunity for multilevel cooperation between two great cities, the consistency the program gathered during the implementation years, as well as the political message it sends to communities that share the same values and are allied in a world that becomes more and more complicated, the Romanian Government, through its Ambassador in the United States pursued a couple of activities to benefit the program. Thus, the Romanian Ambassador, Dr. Andrei Muraru, met with Mr. Turner during his visit to Houston in January 2022, and one of their conclusion was that the sister cities program and its successful ending are priorities for both sides. Also, during his meetings with Romanian community in general and with the Romanians working in Energy field, the dedication and adherence of both the community and the Romanian Government to the program are unwavering and both are willing to work for its completion in success. The communication between Mr. Muraru and Mr. Turner continued matching their dedication towards the completion of the sister cities project.
